The Desfile de las Mil Polleras is one of Panama’s most iconic cultural celebrations, held annually in Las Tablas, Los Santos. The 2026 parade brought together over 100 delegations and hundreds of thousands of spectators to honor the pollera—one of the world’s most intricate traditional garments. Hand-sewn with extraordinary detail and worn with gold jewelry and tembleques, each dress reflects generations of craftsmanship. Throughout the celebration, locals were kind, gracious, and proud to share their culture, traditions, and heritage with visitors from around the world.
